Unvented Hot Water
We offer Unvented Hot Water courses that include assessment. Successful completion will lead to certification by our certification body. This will, in turn, demonstrate competency in this work area, as defined in the building regulations. The course is aimed at individuals from a plumbing backround or related trade interested in becoming involved in Unvented Hot Water systems with a storage facility above 15 litres. The course is a balanced mix of theory and practical training and assessment. Our Unvented Hot Water practical areas boast three different systems, therefore offering a broad knowledge of components and layouts. Course numbers are kept low, so as to fully benefit from the knowledge and experience of one of our in-house trainers.
This course is a one day course and will cover the following: an insight into domestic hot water, it's evolution and the main differences on unvented systems, different types of unvented system including controls and layouts, installation, commissioning and maintenance of unvented systems.
Part G Package
You might have already heard that the unvented hot water qualification is now renewable every five years. This means that many engineers have to renew within the next twelve months. Secondly, for those wishing to self certify plumbing work under Part G of the Building Regulations will require a water regulations qualification. Both awards are available through us and are one day each in duration.
We realise this is time consuming and costly to have yet another two days off work. So, for those needing to renew the unvented certificate as well as water regulations, we now offer both in ONE DAY!
