Building regulations Part L - Energy Efficiency
This is a one-day theory course and will enable successful applicants to self-certify the efficiency of the system. It is required if a new boiler is installed, an old one exchanged or if the hot water storage vessel is replaced.
BESCA certification
BESCA certification is a one-day course leading to Accredited Certifier status. This is designed for firms engaged in large industrial-commercial applications where it would be inefficient to have all operatives self-certifying: instead, an Accredited Certifier acts as the conduit for all work and takes resposibility for notifying Building Control.
